I would love to tell you more about my latest collaboration with Sodastream. If you follow me on instagram (@paulienstr) you may have already seen that I am a big fan of Sodastream. For the holidays Sodastream has designed a limited edition machine in gold & rose gold. I had the opportunity to test this one so let me show you how this one looks & explain my personal experience with Sodastream.

Why using Sodastream?

If you like sparkling water as much as I do then Sodastream is the solution! First of all it has a beautiful design & with the gold or rose gold details it gives that little extra sparkle to your kitchen.

It is super easy to use & it has reusable bottles which you can take everywhere with you. Do you think the bottles are too big to take with you? No worries, Sodastream designed special on the go bottles; the ‘My Only Bottle’. These are very easy to take with you thanks to the carrying strap.

More than just sparkling water!

Did you know you can do so much more with Sodastream than making sparkling water? You can also add syrup in your favorite flavor to make cola, grenadine, tonic, agrum, ice tea, …

Do you want a more festive drink? Then let’s make cocktails/mocktails with it! You can find many recipes here on the Sodastream site to get inspired about all the cocktails you can make.

Since I’m hosting the New Year’s Eve party I was super excited to try some cocktails so I can serve them to my guests on NYE. They will be blown away that I made cocktails using the Sodastream machine.

The cocktails I’ve tried are the ‘Tropicola‘ & ‘Sunny & Share‘.

Tropicola

• 30 ml of white rum
• 15 ml of Sodastream Cola Syrup
• 15 ml lime juice
• vanilla stick cut in half
• a pinch of finely grated ginger
• Sodastream sparkling water

Tadaa, here you have the ‘Tropicola’ cocktail! My boyfriend is already a big fan of it!

Sunny & Share

• 150 ml Sodastream Pink Grapefruit (I couldn’t find the grapefruit so I bought the Agrum instead)
• 1 bottle of rosé wine
• 1 bottle of dry prosecco
• 1 fresh lemon, sliced
• 1 small pink grapefruit, sliced & in quarters
• 30 g of fresh edible flowers (couldn’t find these in the store)
• 10 sprigs of fresh thyme
• Sodastream sparkling water

& just easy as that you have the delicious ‘Sunny & Share’ cocktails!

My experience

I used to have a hard time drinking my daily amount of water because I don’t like drinking tap water at all. & in my opinion, there are too much bubbles in the sparkling water in the store, so that was not a solution for me. But since I got to know Sodastream, this is no longer a problem at all.
I love it that you can adjust the amount of sparkling in your water to your own preference. At home we use in daily & we couldn’t go without it anymore. In the meantime my brother, sister & mother have already bought a Sodastream for themselves. (talking about influencing 😉)
